Once we find the right student to help out your team, it won’t take long. We have a short contract to read through and sign. After that it’s just a matter of getting them set up in your IT systems.
Currently we are only working with students who have been accepted to the accounting program at BYU. Their accounting program has consistently ranked in the top 5 nationally over the past several decades.
Many students already have jobs and are used to balancing work alongside their course-load. Also, learning to manage your time is an essential part of being an accountant. We think they can start to learn this while they are still in school.
We think that hiring 2 part-time staff instead of 1 full time staff can be a positive. It can allow for more redundancy during vacations and other time off and allow for responsibilities to be split more completely.
Each individual student wouldn’t be able to go over 20 hours per week. But we understand that some times are a lot more busy than others in accounting. We can find a group of students that work hours exactly when you need them.
